Mayor Doherty named Honorary Chair of Riverfest 2008 

April 21, 2008 –  Organizers of the Lackawanna River Corridor Association’s Riverfest 2008 have named Mayor Christopher Doherty of Scranton Honorary Chair for the event. 

LRCA’s Riverfest is an annual rite of spring in NEPA, to be held this year on Saturday May 10. The event features a Canoe-a-Thon, Duck-a-Thon, River Regatta, food, music, and more. Everyone is invited to participate and attend.
