AUGUST 14, 2006 – Planning for First Night Scranton 2007 is underway, and organizers are looking for unique venues throughout Downtown Scranton to participate in this great community event. 

Each year, this event highlights our City’s architecture as a backdrop to more than 50 artists and performers in unique venues throughout the City – venues where you usually wouldn’t expect to see bands or art displays, such as a bank lobby, or even a fire house.

Event organizers are looking for large and small spaces, ranging from storefronts to businesses to theaters to lobbies. Each and every space can provide a unique setting for a First Night display or performance – all that is needed is a little creativity!
