Scranton Tomorrow,
Architectural Heritage Association and WVIA
present International Urban Planning Lecturer

In honor of its 15th
anniversary, Scranton Tomorrow, along with the Architectural Heritage
Association (AHA) and WVIA, recently presented the inaugural Jane
Jacobs Urban Planning Lecture Series featuring Roberta Brandes Gratz,
an award-winning journalist and urban planning lecturer.
Ms. Gratz spoke to a
group of approximately 75 planners, developers, and regional city and
county officials at WVIAís new high-definition theater. Jane Jacobs,
the eventís namesake, was a Scranton-native and a self-taught,
world-renowned author on urban
activism.
The
lecture and discussion will be aired on WVIA-TV
on Thursday, November 22 at 7 p.m., Friday,
November 23 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 25 at 1 p.m.
