December 17, 2007 ñ Scranton Tomorrow is pleased to announce that dedicated volunteers are working to plan the annual Winter in the City cocktail parties to benefit the programs of Scranton Tomorrow.
The 2008 Winter in the City cocktail parties will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 and Friday, February 8, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. ñ 8:00 p.m. at the Trolley Museum in Scranton. Admission to each event is $15, and includes hors díoeuvres, cocktails and live entertainment. Entertainment for the January event will be Dr. Horse Machine and the Moneynotes, and February will be Paul LaBelle and the Exact Change.
All proceeds will benefit the programs of Scranton Tomorrow, including Artspace Scranton, the Riverfront Development, South Side Revitalization, First Night Scranton, the Scranton Business Alliance, and the Jane
Jacobs Urban Planning Lecture Series.
