30+ years of Scranton City Pride Projects

Scranton City Pride dates back to the mid-1990s when Scranton Tomorrow leaders organized a grass roots effort to help beautify the city they loved.

 

Since then, the project has grown with our community. Scranton City Pride is a project of Scranton Tomorrow, NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania, and United Neighborhood Centers (UNC) of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

 

An annual spring tradition, hundreds of volunteers participate in clean-ups, plantings and beautification projects, environmental stewardship programs, and more in every section of Scranton. Together, we’re on a mission to preserve and enhance the beauty of our historic city!
