

Scranton City Pride is a beautification and community development project hosted by Scranton Tomorrow, NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania, and United Neighborhood Centers (UNC) of Northeastern Pennsylvania. An annual spring tradition, hundreds of volunteers participate in clean-ups, plantings, environmental programs, and more!

A special feature of Scranton City Pride
is Garbage Olympics! This 2-hour competition between teams in Pine Brook and West Scranton is hosted by United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA and NeighborWorks Northeastern PA.

What You Will Need
We’ll provide work gloves and trash bags to all registered volunteers. Just bring your favorite tools and a friend! Remember to dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t forget sunscreen, insect repellent, and bottled water.
