Everyone in the community is invited to celebrate Scranton City Pride projects at First Friday in June, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Scranton Tomorrow headquarters, 307 Linden Street, Downtown Scranton:
Enjoy themed refreshments as you peruse "A Work in Progress,” a photo exhibit of Scranton City Pride.
Receive a complimentary re-purposed tea cup with a potted plant (while supplies last), courtesy of Scranton Tomorrow.
Chat with experts from Penn State Master Gardeners in Lackawanna County, who will share gardening tips and educational information.
Help to reduce landfill waste and drop off used single-use coffee pods (K-cups) in our collection box and we'll send them off to be recycled through a special program!
Take a self-guided floral tour of Downtown businesses displaying floral container arrangements in celebration of the upcoming Electric City Flower Show (June 29 at Nay Aug Park in Scranton). The displays are part of the Downtown Business Class category of the show presented by Scranton Tomorrow. On First Friday, vote for your favorite arrangements through our Facebook page!
